Where is the motivation????

Have you ever had one of those days where you just didn't want to do ANYTHING?!  It was a rainy and very windy day here in Massachusetts and really seemed to affect the mood of everyone in the house.  It was one of those days where you just wish you could crawl back into bed.  Hopefully this mood is not longstanding.  After all there's so much to learn about this world we live in!  If you've had these days of no motivation, I'd love to hear how you handle them.

Elijah did help with breakfast this morning and that made him feel extremely important (not that he isn't already, of course).  We even stuck a math problem in there to solve....bacon in the microwave....count the slices....they need to be in for 5 seconds per slice...On the spot, what does 5 10's equal....he didn't answer, he proceeded to walk to the microwave and punch in five-zero!  He's such a smartie :-)

Sierra and Rhiannon also worked on some math worksheets and some spelling stuff too.

Joshua continues to be a challenge....how will we approach getting him to focus on learning.  He's a very smart boy, just VERY hard to keep down and in one spot.  I do have some computer software I've purchased that I'd like to install, but I'm not sure our current desktop will be able to handle that.  I'd really like to have a computer dedicated to the school stuff.  Perhaps we'll work on that this weekend....and see where it takes us.  Until then, we perservere...what else can we do?

Despite lack of motivation, I did manage to accomplish a few things...sending out much needed emails, finding this new blogging host and working all the details out, distributing the last of sale materials for the Girl Scout Fall Product Sale and sending out important info to the Troop Managers and Leaders.

The girls also have GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) Club tonight.  They've been very excited for it to start back up and I'm sure we'll hear plenty about the goings on tonight when they get home.

Praying tomorrow brings back the motivation and energy to complete the tasks the Lord wishes us to.
